Networks

Under the names Bakker Logistiek, Becker Logistiek and Broersma Logistiek, we distribute freight over a comprehensive distribution network in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany on a daily basis. Furthermore, we have warehouses where we offer additional services such as repacking, in addition to stock intake, storage and release. To an increasing degree, we want to make a difference with innovative logistics concepts. We can offer our customers added value at a competitive price thanks to the scale at which we work, the knowledge that we have, the systems that our processes support and the combination of transport and warehousing.

We deliver foodstuffs of various food categories to wholesaler and retail distribution centres, but also to industry, hotels and catering and directly to shops. We deliver a large variety of products: wine, canned food, drugs/cosmetics, confectionary, margarine and sauces, cheese and other dairy products and pre-packaged meat. The packaging also varies: pallets, roll containers, roll-in containers, tanks, barrels and casks.
 

The various products must be handled at specific storage and transport temperatures. We have four types of logistics networks:

  • Dry
  • Conditioned (+14˚C)
  • Refrigerator-fresh (+2˚C to +4˚C)
  • Frozen (-18˚C to -20˚C)


In the Benelux, we distribute fresh, chilled and dry food products on pallets and in roll containers. We deliver them within 4, 12, 24 or 48 hours of receiving an order.
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we deliver products within 24 to 48 hours. Here it concerns fresh, chilled, frozen and dry foodstuffs. As a customer, you can order a full lorry or the delivery of just one or more pallets. In all cases, we ensure that the goods and associated information are passed through the logistics chain properly.

For the storage of dry, conditioned, refrigerator-fresh and frozen food products, we have modern warehouses at five locations in the Benelux. They have a total storage capacity of more than 200,000 m2. We have 8,500 m2 for cross-docking (distribution without storage).

In addition to warehousing, we offer various other services: Value Added Logistics (VAL). Our VAL activities include, for example, assembling products and labelling and repacking products (for example, for sampling or sales campaigns).
