The history of our business goes back more than a hundred years. It began when Egbert Bakker started transporting strong drink by track boat between Rotterdam and Amersfoort. Since then, Bakker Logistiek has always remained a family business. The acquired businesses, Broersma Logistiek (2003) and Becker Logistiek (2009), are also family businesses, which, from time immemorial, have been used to optimally anticipate the changing wishes of the customers. Koninklijke De Ruijter is evidence of this. Around 1930, P. de Ruijter & Zn became the first foodstuff customer of haulier Becker for the transport of its aniseed comfits. Today, De Ruijter is still one of the leading customers of Bakker Logistiek.
